Just beyond the eThekwini Municipal boundary, to the West, lies the Mkhambathini Municipality and the areas of Camperdown, Umlaas Road and Lynfield Park. Also situated on the N3 corridor, most of the properties in this area are zoned industrial or commercial and have excellent freeway access. The Mkhambathini Municipality supports appropriate development and will do what they can to assist, making this a good area for investment.  There are a number of vacant Light Industrial or Logistics Sites, already platformed and with services available. There are also a few very nice development sites for tourism or residential opportunities. Slightly further...

Gillitts is a quiet leafy suburb located approximately 35 km West of the Durban CBD.  Part of the Upper Highway Area, Gillitts is split by the M13 freeway (built in the 1940s) and Old Main Road Hillcrest. Gillitts has remained a fairly stable up-market residential suburb with little commercial activity in comparison to neighbouring Hillcrest and Kloof. This may be attributable to the fact that there is very little area for Gillitts to grow. Gillitts includes areas such as Gillitts Park, St Helier, Woodlands, Cliftonpark, Chelmsford and Stockville. Although Gillitts remains predominantly a residential area, there are sections adjacent to the M13 and certain...
